Caribbean press in jeopardy

A major journalism organization is lending support to journalists in the Caribbean. The International Federation of Journalists is coming to the defense of journalists, who are being attacked and intimidated or are subjected to unethical conditions. Head of Human Rights and Safety at IFJ, Ernest Sagaga said they have been several reports of threats and intimidation against journalists in the region, some of which come from government officials. The international agency, has already made contact with media heads and press clubs throughout the Caribbean.
