Losing a loved one is never easy, and even if you have had that unfortunate experience once, it is never the same if you experience another loss. This month on BTS Live Loss & Grief, Kadene discusses with Maxine McTaggart, who is a trained counselor, how she has navigated grief with multiple losses over the years.

Losing her brother, a best friend to violence, her father to Alzheimer’s, an aunt who was like her second mother, and recently, losing her mother showed Maxine that the grief process varies with each experience. She shares with us that the one thing that helps her accept losing a loved one is her belief that ‘no one dies before their time’. The ladies discuss strategies for coping and key insight to healing from grief.
