The City of Fort Lauderdale is assisting any organization with food and emergency supply distribution events with traffic control support at no charge, to help prevent traffic backups and organize the flow of vehicles during the events. if you are an organization in need of assistance.

Please remember if you are still out of work to apply for food stamps it takes only 5 days to receive it.

The CARES Act established several new temporary programs to address the COVID-19 outbreak through the Small Business Administration:

PPP-paycheck Protection Program-(resumed April 27)

This loan program provides loan forgiveness for retaining employees by temporarily expanding the traditional SBA 7(a) loan program.

EIDL Loan Advance-Economic Injury Disaster Loan 

This loan advance will provide up to $10,000 of economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing temporary difficulties.

SBA Express Bridge Loans

Enables small businesses who currently have a business relationship with an SBA Express Lender to access up to $25,000 quickly.

SBA Debt Relief

The SBA is providing a financial reprieve to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rent relief:

Miami Beach is the latest city to announce the creation of a rent relief fund for qualifying residents impacted by COVID-19. 

More than $549,000 will be available through state and federal funds for those residents who have fallen behind in payments as a result of job loss.
